Marie Haley started her artistic journey as a trained vocalist in her early years, and then harnessed that same artistic passion as she began a new creative journey. A self-taught, intuitive artist at heart, she initially dabbled in various forms of mixed media art.
As her journey evolved, Marie found herself drawn into the fascinating world of fluid art. She became captivated with mixing bright and bold colored paints and pigments with various chemical additives. In her home studio, she discovered her inner alchemist in the magic of blending art with chemistry.
Perfecting this process ultimately led to the fascinating depth, fluidity and intricate cellular effects in her work. The unpredictable nature of the process, coupled with the often-mesmerizing results, continue to fuel Marie’s passion for this unique art form.
Marie’s work can be found in various venues throughout Northwest Arkansas and in private collections around the
MIRANDA (daughter and co-owner)- Miranda is a University of Arkansas graduate and works full-time for the business. She is the organized one in the family, so running logistics is right up her alley. Besides being a fluid artist, Miranda is also a talented designer. A true jack-of-all-trades, she has been invaluable in helping us run the day-to-day operations of the business.
STEPHANIE (daughter)- Stephanie is a full-time paramedic in Fayetteville, AR and a part-time fluid artist. Steph specializes in Resin Art and despite her crazy busy schedule, she makes time to help us with our large events. As our resident photographer, she is responsible for all of the awesome pictures on our website and Facebook site. Stephanie has been absolutely instrumental in making this dream a reality.
AVA- Ava girl, Miranda’s 8 month old Golden Retriever, is Art&Soul Studios’ beloved mascot! This sassy girl specializes in chewing on plastic cups and popsicle sticks. She also LOVES belly rubs and pup cups.
